SisterLove Featured in CNN and Gilead HIV History Series "Blind Angels".

March 10th- Today marks National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. This day has a particular significance to us at SisterLove, Inc. Over 31 years ago, Dázon Dixon Diallo founded SisterLove to address the lack of resources, attention, and research given to the HIV epidemic in the Black community, particularly for women and girls. Since then, we have grown to serve thousands on two continents.

As the oldest HIV and reproductive health, rights, and justice nonprofit in the Southeastern United States, SisterLove was the first choice for CNN and Gilead Sciences' series Blind Angels, which chronicles the living history of the HIV epidemic in the South. Dázon and Antoinette Jones, our Peer Navigator, were featured in episode four, which focuses on Georgia, and talked about their own history with advocacy and activism, the struggles and triumphs they experienced, and what keeps them fighting day in and day out.
