Veronica Brisco

Veronica Brisco is a prominent HIV advocate, motivational speaker, and community leader. Diagnosed with HIV in 1999, she began advocating publicly in 2011 to educate and empower others. A Philadelphia native and former volleyball scholarship recipient at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, she was crowned Miss UMES and featured in Ebony Magazine. After earning a business degree, she had a diverse career before finding her passion in HIV advocacy in South Carolina. Since 2014, she has worked with the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, promoting access and equity for people living with HIV. As a member of P.O.S.I.T.I.V.E. Voices and co-developer of the Women’s Empowerment Academy, she aims to uplift others and foster a compassionate, informed community.
