Michelle Yvette Goodman

Michelle Yvette Goodman (born August 17, 1968) is a dedicated advocate and community leader, known for her resilience and compassion. After her HIV diagnosis, she committed to educating and empowering others, demonstrating that life can be fulfilling post-diagnosis. For over a decade, Michelle has been a prominent voice in HIV advocacy, focusing on education, testing, and stigma reduction through organizations like the Caring Hearts Organization and the Positive People’s Network, Inc. Additionally, she supports military families as an AmeriCorps member and advocates for parents of transgender children as the Coordinator of Transparent Services. Recognized by the Florida Department of Health for her leadership, Michelle exemplifies hope and healing, showing that thriving with HIV is achievable through knowledge, acceptance, and love.
