Pregnancy & Criminalization In Georgia: A Reproductive Justice Approach

Welcome to Episode II of the “Know Your Rights: You Deserve Care Without Fear” campaign series, a comprehensive legal webinar on pregnancy and criminalization in Georgia. Launched in 2025 in response to Georgia’s maternal health crisis and ongoing human rights abuses impacting Black women and birthing people, this event partners the Justice, Law, and Policy Project with Access Reproductive Care–Southeast and If/When/How to explain the Georgia LIFE Act, legal protections and realities, and the lived impact of criminalization, centering Black communities and reproductive justice.
