Toi Washington-Reynolds

Toi Washington-Reynolds is the Founder and Director of theTrans Women of Color (TWOC) Healing Project, established in Birmingham, Alabamain 2019 and later relocated to Georgia in 2020. The TWOC Healing Project isdedicated to speaking knowledge to power, combating the erasure of trans livesand narratives, and uplifting the invaluable contributions of trans women ofcolor within society.

Through this work, Toi is committed to raising awareness and fosteringvisibility for trans women of color, their families, communities, andmovementsensuring their stories remain an integral part of the greater tapestryof humanity. Based in Newnan, Georgia, the organization serves multiplecommunities across rural Georgia, including Coweta County, South Fulton, TroupCounty, and Muscogee County.
