Reverend Jennifer Harkness-Allen, MPA, MDiv

Vice Chairperson

Rev. Jennifer Harkness-Allen is a compassionate leader, ordained elder, and experienced nonprofit executive whose life’s work centers on care, connection, and community. A native of Columbia, she now resides in Atlanta with her husband and is the proud mother of two young adult children. Rev. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Spelman College, a Master of Public Administration from University of Georgia, and a Master of Divinity from Columbia Theological Seminary. She brings more than two decades of leadership experience in nonprofit management and community engagement, with work spanning local, state, and federal government, as well as nonprofit, foundation, and corporate sectors. Throughout her career, Rev. Jennifer has been dedicated to connecting resources, organizations, and people to create meaningful impact in underserved communities. She serves as President and CEO of J H Allen and Associates and Board Chair of The Minerva Foundation, Inc. Through both organizations, she advances philanthropic initiatives focused on education, youth mentoring, elder care, and mental health advocacy.
