Healthy Love Experience Program Manager
Evelyn is responsible for program service delivery of the Healthy Love Experience team, formally known as HEAP. Areas of oversight include SLI's health education, prevention activities, training, supervising, and motivating program staff. She will manage departmental operations including HIV, Hepatitis C, Pregnancy, STI testing, counseling, and linkage to care. Evelyn is also the point person to oversee the Healthy Love Bus (HLB) mobile clinic operations. In addition, she will provide oversight in the collection, and compilation of all data collected from testing participants on a timely and consistent basis. She will manage the scheduling of HLE staff, the SLI Clinic coverage, and support groups, as well as provide testing, counseling, and support when needed. Her oversight to ensure quality standards for testing and counseling maintained through completion of appropriate documentation, (that complies with all CQI/CLIA/HIPPA standards), is a key responsibility. Evelyn joins SLI with over 10 years of experience in management, supervision, and high quality service to clients, community partners, and key constituents. Most recently, Evelyn directed and managed the Rule 20 Mental Health Court Competency Restoration Project (Ramsey County Government Center, MN) where she managed staffing, researched and implemented best practices to establish sound and innovative processes, policies, and programs. In a previous position with Hennepin Healthcare/Children's Gillette/ Regions Hospital in MN, Evelyn worked closely with state Epidemiologists on data for HIV, PREP, and health disparities as well as managed a $20 million budget for Ryan White HIV Funds for the state of Minnesota.
