Healthy Love Youth Advocates Inaugural Cohort Launch

Updated: May 10

The SisterLove, Inc. Healthy Love Youth Advocates Inaugural Cohort (HLYA) is a 10 month fellowship open to youth ages 15-25 living in the state of Georgia. The fellowship will run from May 2021-February 2022 with meetings occurring every 4th Wednesday each month in the evening. (There will be a hiatus during the month of December.)

The program will share valuable knowledge to build skill sets in activism, grassroots organizing, and public policy through a reproductive justice lens. Once completed, our new ambassadors will be able to magnify the work of SLI by sharing with their networks and circles of influence.

During the program, participants of HLYA's (pronounced Hell Yasssss) will be given a modest monthly stipend. This stipend can be used to complete the fellowship and/or to complete a project related to the reproductive justice framework that will amplify and uplift the needs of youth and young adults in Georgia.
