32 Years of SisterLove

This week we are celebrating SisterLove’s 32nd birthday!


In response to the erasure of women, particularly Black women, from conversations about the impact of HIV/AIDS on the community, our visionary leader, Dazon Dixon Diallo, founded SisterLove, Inc. on July 25, 1989. SisterLove is the first women’s HIV/AIDS reproductive justice organization in the southeastern United States. Over the years, SisterLove has cemented its place in history as a globally influential sexual health and reproductive justice organization, with offices in Atlanta, GA and Johannesburg, South Africa.


In celebration of our birthday, we would like to thank the entire SisterLove staff for their contributions. Reaching thirty-two years of service is no small feat and requires a solid team. Learn more about SisterLove’s programs and initiatives:
