About the Event

The NNEDV Positively Safe team, in partnership with Black Women’s Blueprint and SisterLove, Inc is excited to announce an upcoming three-part webinar series, on social determinants of health and the impact on survivors and people living with HIV. This series is an excellent opportunity for advocates who want to gain an understanding on how our surrounding environment impact our healthcare and risk of violence.

We will begin with an overview on social determinants of health and understanding the key areas and its impact on anti-violence work, then will move on to discuss how specific marginalized communities are impacted, and will finish off with understanding how survivors living with HIV will have an increased impact of social determinants of health and how advocates can use this information in their work.
